Why my prayers don't get answered?
A lot of people are on the mountain, praying grounds, praying all kinds of prayer and when their prayers aren't answered they lose their faith and wonder if all the promises of God are really true.✅
In Isaiah, God says, "My people perish because of lack of knowledge." They did not perish because of lack of prayer and other religious activities, but because they did not know. Most of us know but what we know isn't engraved in our spirit. What I mean is that, what we know has not become a reality within us, in the spiritual realm, or the spiritual dimension of our lives. One of the Bible verses I quoted yesterday “Rom. 6" which I have been reciting since....only God knows, but I hadn't been able to grasp the knowledge in it before. This stage of being exposed to God's knowledge but not actually *knowing* is where many of us are.
We can quote the whole book of Genesis but those words are not producing result in our lives. They aren't becoming "flesh". Knowledge is not only in the memory lane but also in our hearts. We pray in the name of Jesus but most of our prayers contradict the nature of Jesus. How can that kind of prayer be answered? It's not only the name of Jesus that makes our prayers answered but also the content of the prayer. If the content lacks Jesus it cannot not be answered. We pray and we receive, not because our prayers make God do what we requested for.
“ Jesus has been crucified from the foundation of the word" He knew the end from the beginning. In the garden of Eden, everything was created before man. Man was not an after thought process. He knew all our needs before we were born. We are just aligning our minds into God's provision. And positioning it well. Why do answers come when we pray? Praying makes us conscious of what has been provided in Christ Jesus. He isn't creating anything new. It's makes us receptive and conscious to what God has given us in Christ.
