Question: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. How does that scripture relate to us who were once gentiles and never had the law? what law did Christ redeemed us from?

We all know that we were never  under the law.  Under the law here, means under Moses. The written law was given to the Jews as a precept and a guide from Yahweh. 

Romans2:14

For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature the things of the law, they are a law to themselves, although they do not have the law

Their conscience is in accordance with the law bearing witness to the requirements of the law.  Though not having the written law, the law has been imprinted in their heart. They are indirectly under the law because of the ability to decipher between what is wrong or right. 

That's what the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil does to our consciousness. 

(Titus 3:5, NKJV).

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit” 

The blood of Jesus isn't only for redemption of sin but also re_engineer and blot out the consciousness of sin by yielding to the holy spirit. 

The consciousness of sin is dwelling more on “Thy shall not” and it's consequences and your old nature rather than your  new nature and it's ability to please God and do the right thing. 

God is not at peace with us because of what we did or did not do. He is at peace because of our faith in Jesus Christ. Ref:James 5:15..
