The God you seek is within. Truth or false?

The statement shouldn't be used by just anybody because there's is an iota of truth and falsehood in it. And this is base on ones  spiritual state. Our spiritual state will determine if the statement is right or wrong. 

A lot of people have believed this statement and unknowingly been fellowshipping with demons in the pretence of meditation and accessing realms through emptying of ones mind and connecting with ones inner self. One must understand the point of view in which the writer or speaker is deriving their thought from. 

 This is not to say that meditation  itself is wrong but what you're mediating on will be the determinant. 

Let's starts from : 

Genesis 5-3

When Adam had lived 130 years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and he called his name Seth.

Procreation started outside the garden of Eden after man fell. Man procreated after the pattern of the fallen nature. The population of the world increase after the likeness of Adam. 

Genesis 2_17

But Yahweh said to him, “I will not permit you to eat the fruit of the tree that will enable you to know what actions are good to do and what actions are evil to do. If you eat any fruit from that tree, on the day you eat it you will surely become separated from me

Other translation use ‘died’ in place of ‘separation’

 Did man separate/ died?  Yes he did. The very attributes of God in man left. (What made man to house the presence of God was destroyed) They couldn't fellowship with the father. For in him we live and move and exist. The very existence of man is in God and without his spirit  in man, man is nothing but a moulded dust. 

 Genesis 4-26 “At that time people began to call on the name of Yahweh.”

But God never left  were he was in the beginning. He was in that very spiritual location he has alway been before the fall of man. It was man that was separated due to his choices.  Hence, the God they seeked wasn't within because the access point to him as been broken. 

An unbeliever shouldn't say God is within. He and God are two worlds apart. Neither are they made in the likeness of God. As bitter as this sounds, it is the firm truth. 

Yes! It is within. Hallelujah🤲

When we receive Jesus as our lord and saviour and repent from all our sin we have the access to house the spirit of God. Our fellowship with the father is restored because our human spirit is quickened. Now we can boldly say that we are created in the likeness of God because we become Christian i:e Christ like. We can choose to meditate on his words, name, acts and ways. Meditating on spiritual things is safe because the holy spirit will guide us into all truth. 

Then we can boldly say that the God that we seek is within. 

Hope you are doing well. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Do not stop the fellowship of the holy Spirit because he is within and he longs for us whether we believe or not. He does! 😊
